alright so my girlfriend was at a week long conference thing and wasn%26#039;t going to be here for her birthday...but she ended up getting sick and coming home and will be here now for it. I already gave her the stuff i got/made for her before she left but i kinda want to give her something on her actual birthday... i was thinking maybe flowers (because she is sick still) but i dont know what kind of flower (idk if roses would be appropriate) i should get her or if there is anything better i could get her...please help?

I just got flowers...?
I just got a call from the receptionist, saying I just had flowers delivered. I do have a birthday coming up on Sunday. I have a boyfriend, which I doubt would send me flowers. I have a boss who is fond of sending flowers, but he typically forgets my birthday and will generally send flowers to our entire group....not just one of us.
Who could they be from?? Any guesses?
I can%26#039;t go up to get them right now....I have to wait for a bit....

He couldn't be bothered driving to see me on my birthday. Do I have any right to be upset?
-Today is my 19th birthday (Tuesday).
-I didnt go to school and didnt get a chance to see my friends, had legal business to take care of
-This morning my boyfriend crept into my room at about 7:30am, when I was still asleep, to bring me flowers and wish me happy birthday.
-We lay together for 15 minutes, then he said he had to go because he didnt want his dad to be mad about him having the car gone for too long.
-That afternoon, he knew I was alone (family issues, not talking to them and these also prevent me from having a little %26#039;gathering%26#039; at my house for my bday)
-He called me at 6
-I asked him to come over (last night he said he %26#039;might be able to%26#039;)
-He lives 5-10 mins from me by car

Birthdays are usually an emotional day anyway, and I know how it feels. First of all, many years ago, I have learned to stop trusting others to act on my birthday. I plan AHEAD weeks before, an agenda for the day. So if some of my friends join me thats cool, if not, they will be missing out on the fun anyway. True friends will make time. I long ago stopped depending on my boyfriend to be there for me, and just planned stuff where if he is unable to join me, that he wouldnt ruin my day. For example on my birthday: Wake up early work out, get a facial and massage (get dropped off if you dont drive), go shopping, and at night get dressed, have a great dinner, go out for another place for dessert, and go to a lounge or a movie. And thats my plan, i%26#039;m depending on myself to enjoy my day because my day is important to me and i%26#039;m worth it. Has Anyone Ever Purchased Flowers Using Lane Bryant Companies Credit Cards?
Every time I%26#039;ve used their service (which is really Telaflora) they mess up the order. I ordered flowers for my sister for two days before Christmas, and it took them 1 1/2 days to deliver them, even though I called in the morning to order. Then they were crummy looking. When I called to complain, they gave me the standard %26quot;We%26#039;ll take your complaint and see what can be done%26quot; which I%26#039;ve always found to be is nothing, the girl told me that florists pay T.F. to be first in line for referrals. The florist they sent my order to was 14 miles from my sisters house, where as she has two florists who deal in T.F. in her town! Today was the last straw. I called in some flowers for my daughter%26#039;s birthday and the florist called me to say they didn%26#039;t have that arrangement, and then confided in me that the 60.00 I paid to T.F. is only paying for a 34.00 arrangement! But, on the T.F. web page, they showed I purchased one for 45.00. RIP OFF. I%26#039;m not using them again, and am telling Lane Brynt
